BLOG: EVERGREEN LINE UPDATE

With station construction and tunnel boring in full swing, and most stations halfway completed, work on the Evergreen Line is well underway. Track has been laid in Burnaby/Burquitlam as well as in Port Moody, and crews are installing track in the Coquitlam Pinetree area now. Testing begins this summer on the section of track between Lougheed Station and Burquitlam Station, with an overall expected completion date of Fall 2016 — just in time for The Windsor’s first move-ins.

When I heard Polygon was working alongside renowned architect Keith Hemphill of RHA to design a new community of waterfront townhomes and apartments, my ears perked. Then when I learned the location was next to Cates Park with its sandy beach, abundance of marine wildlife, and pristine waters for paddle boarding and kayaking, I was quick to register my interest online.
