 A Sound Foundation

After reflecting on all the excitement of 2010, Polygon is confident that a solid foundation has been established for strong economic growth and a prosperous future for British Columbia.

Year in Review
The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games – a time of tremendous pride for our city and the solidarity of our country – came and went. Many significant landmarks remain, a legacy for us all to build upon. The world witnessed our spectacular natural beauty and continues to recognize Vancouver as one of the most livable places on earth!

2010 was also an exciting year for us at Polygon, with more than 1,000 families making the decision to purchase a new Polygon home. Across the Lower Mainland, we’ve continued to build and sell homes – whether in one of the signature master-planned communities of Windsor Gate and Dayanee Springs in Coquitlam or Sunstone in North Delta, a townhome at Wishing Tree in Richmond, or an apartment at Anderson Walk on the North Shore, we’ve been active creating well–designed and well–constructed homes.

Leadership
We were fortunate to have a strong government guide our economy through some turbulent times and we at Polygon congratulate Premier Gordon Campbell on his distinction as the most fiscally responsible Premier in Canada. As the Premier prepares for his own new beginning, we extend our thanks for his leadership in ensuring that our province will be successful in the years to come.

Economic Stability
After two years in recovery, economists suggest that the British Columbia economy is stable and poised for growth. We are fortunate to have one of the healthiest economies in North America. Many businesses are reporting year-over-year growth and an increase in consumer confidence.

Affordability
Interest rates remain historically low, with five-year mortgages available at under 4%. Low rates make it possible for many first-time homebuyers and young families to take the leap into home ownership. At Polygon, we’ve focused our efforts on designing homes to suit the needs of first-time buyers by keeping value, affordability and good design in mind.

A Positive Outlook
Now in our fourth decade of home building, we are confident in our ability to deliver quality homes in the best locations in the Lower Mainland. From Abbotsford to Vancouver’s West Side, and from first-time buyers to empty nesters, we are committed to building homes to fit your needs.

Recent statistics show that more households are being formed in this province than homes are being built. Polygon is well positioned to meet the needs of this growing demand from the many new residents of the province.

In 2011, we will start over 1,200 new homes in communities such as Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, North Delta, Langley, Surrey and Abbotsford.

With a sound foundation and a positive outlook for our province, it’s a great time to secure your spot in the most beautiful place on earth. Visit a Polygon community in your area and we’ll help you find the new home that’s right for you.
